What wedges do you need for golf?

A golf wedge usually has a clubface angle, also called loft, between 48° and 60°. There are different types of wedges. A so-called pitching wedge usually has a loft of 48° to 50°, a gap wedge has a loft of 52° to 54°, a sand wedge has a loft of 56° to 58° and a lob wedge has a loft of 60°.
