The development of our wedges is based on more than 40 years of experience. From the club head design for various big brands such as Taylor Made, MD Golf and UST Mamiya, as well as from the coaching of outstanding players such as Severiano Ballesteros, Jose Maria Olazabal and Miguel Angel Jimenez on the European and PGA Tour.
VERTICAL BALANCE
SmithWorks X-SPIN Wedges are designed with a vertical balanced head. This technology gives a more stable and consistent head as well as a higher Center of Gravity which creates more spin.
MORE FORGIVING
A larger sweet spot area than standard wedges, ensures less distance and flight dispersion on off-center hits, allowing all golfers to hit more consistent shots.
OPTIMAL THROUGH-SWING
Our X-SPIN wedges have a CNC milled tour sole that guarantees optimal through-swing on any underground; no matter from what kind of turf or bunker your shot will be done. According to the wedge type the clubs have a bounce between 8° and 12°.
BUILT TO SPIN
All of our heads are cast in high carbon super soft steel and finished with a unique ceramic blast for more adhesion. SmithWorks wedges feature a high center of gravity which is created by our reduced weight sole, high blade weight distribution and a shorter hosel. This allows the mass to be distributed to the club center to create a vertical balanced head.

X-SPIN FREESYTLE SERIES
The unique X-SPIN design and the grooves are covering the entire club face of the "Tournament" as well as the "Freestyle" wedges. This creates an extreme spin on the ball, improving consistency and distance control of your short game. The only main difference is the face milling. The X-SPIN face of the Tournament Wedges approved for every tournament is laser-milled, the X-SPIN face of the Freestyle Wedges is cast-milled.
STABILITY AND EFFICIENCY
KBS and SmithWorks developed a new high quality steel wedge shaft together to give even more spin control and consistency. Optimized for the wedges the shaft increases, with a constant weight of 3.1 gram per inch, stability and efficiency on all wedge shots on the green. More spin, more control, more success.
MORE GRIP
Made with premium compound rubber which deliver a soft stable feeling in all conditions. A hard rubber 6 mm cap gives the upper hand more stability and lowers grip torsion for all types of shots. Micro textured pattern throughout for feeling and performance and X-marked for the optimal grip position.
